BoldWater is looking for someone motivated, hard working, personable, good communication skills, proactive with problem solving, multi-tasking and always prepared to change projects when the schedule calls for it. Other major factors are attention to detail.

Our office consists of a small team and there are days that will be extremely busy and chaotic, so we need someone that can handle pressure while producing quality work. We aren't here to sugar coat the description of our expectations, so please do the same when giving your skill sets.

On a side note, we have a very laid back office team and get along well. Lots of humor and good friendships, so do not think by the job description that we run a "ruler to the hand" type of office. We simply love our good reputation for quality work and want to keep it!

Mid level Web Developer and Designer

Experience

Minimum of 2 years experience with web development and light server management. Must be very creative.

Personal Traits

Must be a team player and work well with deadlines. Qualified individual will be highly organized with good communication skills. Also able to multi-task with limited supervision and be comfortable interfacing with clients in person and over the phone. Most importantly love the outdoors and not be offended by catching fish or hunting. Most of our work is done for the hunting and fishing industry.

Description of Duties

Web Server Management

• Help manage off-site dedicated web server (Platform : CentOS / cPanel / WHM)
• Create, maintain and modify web hosting accounts through WHM
• Communicate with server management team for high-level support functions

Web Development -

• Install, upgrade, maintain and customize various scripts written in PHP with mySQL databases.
• Scripts include but are not limited to Vbulletin, Xcart, osCommerce, Gallery2, Joomla, phpBB, Interspire Email Marketer, WHMCS, Wordpress
• Convert graphical mockups to web ready templates utilizing valid CSS, HTML, & PHP
• Maintain existing websites written in CSS, HTML & PHP - involves creation and manipulation of text, data, coding and graphics always in a manner consistent with the site style
• Plan, design, code and populate new websites including e-commerce, content management and community driven systems.
• E-commerce data entry
  HTML Email Creation

Creative Design Skills

• Create new original web designs in Photoshop or Fireworks
• Create new original Flash elements (such as navigation, slideshows, and video deployment)
• Identity Developement
• Print media advertising design
• Large Format creative design
• Minor edits to existing designs
• Prepress final artwork for offset, digital and screen printing

Software / Hardware Skills -

• Photoshop CS4
• Illustrator CS4
• Flash CS4
• Dreamweaver CS4
• Font Management
